The Calicut University Research Journal (CURJ) is a peer reviewed journal publishing papers in humanities and languages.  The CURJ gives priority to issues of contemporary academic and social interest.  The Journal attempts to keep research scholars, teachers and students abreast of the new developments and trends in various domains and discourses.  All papers are scrutinised  by the Editorial Board and a Peer Review Committee  consisting of senior and  eminent scholars in the concerned disciplines.  The Peer Review committee before recommending a paper for publication may examine the papers in matters of its authenticity, originality, and other basic qualities in accordance with the Style Manual adopted .
