CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS

Calicut University Research Journal (CURJ) invites original research writings and book reviews on any theme relevant to Literature and Language in general.

The articles may preferably be between 2000 and 3000 words in length, though there is no specific limitation to the size, and longer articles will also be considered. Images /Photos/Graphics/Tables etc. should be attached and sent separately as JPEG files, in addition to being included in-text. This is to preserve visibility and clarity while printing.

CURJ prefers submissions in MLA 9th Ed Style. It is recommended to use Font Times New Roman, Font Size PT 12, Line Spacing 2 (Double Spaced), and Justified alignment. Headers containing page numbers along with the surname of the author may be avoided. It is recommended to follow the British (UK) spelling.

Please remember to submit articles free of plagiarism. Kindly include a 100 word abstract and a short bio of the author as a separate file along with the respective article.

NO FEE of any kind (including Submission Fee/Article Processing Fee/Publication Fee) is required for submission or publication of articles/papers.

An acknowledgement will be sent for all submissions. A double-blind peer-reviewing process will be followed, and submissions might be sent back for modifications/corrections as suggested by the reviewers. Articles will be subjected to a plagiarism check, and any submission which exceeds the standard limit will be sent back or rejected. Major deviations from the formatting guidelines or inconsistencies in style will also result in submissions being returned for modification.
